Our Wedding

We met on a dance floor. Paul was a gentleman both on and off the floor, and neither of us was looking for another soulmate after we each lost our spouse to cancer. Over time, and as we got to know each other, we realized there could be another chance for love. In the last 4½ years we've shared our pasts, future goals, and our families, and we've only grown closer. We’re grateful for the joy and steady friendship we found in one another, and we can’t wait to celebrate our marriage on October 3, 2026 in Carrollton, Texas.

Laura has been Deborah's best friend since first grade. She is an amazing person that has loved the Lord her whole life and invited me to church when I was just 10 years old.

Misty is Deborah's oldest daughter and she has spent most of her adult life loving God, her family, and others.

Kristi is Deborah's middle daughter. She is a hard worker raising her four kids as a single mom. She has a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off of her back if you asked.

Shanna is Deborah's youngest daughter. She is fierce and independent. After losing her father in 2016, she has faced struggles and celebrated huge victories as she learned to navigate life in a new state, with new friends, and new relationships.

Ben is Paul's son and closest male friend. Ben and his wife Chrissie live in North Dallas with their two younger children. Ben is a seasoned musician, and his work experience has been largely in IT.

Charles is Paul's longest friend since the family moved to the Metroplex in 1993. Early on they would read scripture together which formed the basis of a long friendship. Charles is the owner operator of CC Rider Landscaping.

Enrique and Paul met at St. Catherine of Siena years ago and have served together in ministry and as brother Knights of Columbus. Paul has called on Enrique in a professional capacity more than once through his P&C biz - Garcia Insurance.

Paul met Sumit in the same dance classes where he met Deborah. Over the last few years they've shared camaraderie and more than a few laughs at each other's homes and at many social gatherings.

We invite you to join us in celebrating our special day in semi-formal attire. For the ladies, cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, elegant jumpsuits, or dressy separates are all wonderful choices.For the gentlemen, a suit and tie or a dress shirt with slacks and a sport coat are perfect. Ties are not required.Our ceremony and reception are all about celebrating with family and friends, so we want you to look your best while feeling comfortable. We kindly ask you to avoid casual attire such as jeans, shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, or athletic shoes. We're looking forward to sharing this unforgettable day with you and can't wait to celebrate together!
